Every time the skin is exposed to daylight and environmental stress, it triggers the overproduction of an enzyme called MMP-1 (Matrix Metalloproteinase-1). Think of MMP-1 as a biological wrecking ball; its primary function is to actively break down and dismantle collagen, the vital structural protein that gives the skin its firmness and bounce.

Once they reach the precise cellular depth required, your skin's natural pH levels trigger the breakdown of the capsule, releasing the active enzymes exactly where they are needed.

Urban pollution and UV exposure constantly bombard the skin with free radicals—highly unstable molecules missing an electron. To stabilise themselves, they aggressively steal electrons from healthy skin cells.
